EDISON, NJ – Twenty-six members of the Iona University men's lacrosse program were named to the MAAC All-Academic Team, the conference announced Tuesday. The Gaels earned recognition by meeting the criteria of completing two semesters and maintaining a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20.
A total of 215 student-athletes from the MAAC's 10 men's lacrosse programs were honored. Sacred Heart led all institutions with 32 selections, followed by Quinnipiac with 30. Iona and Manhattan each placed 26 on the team. Rounding out the conference honorees were Siena (24), Canisius (21), Marist (20), Merrimack (19), and Mount St. Mary's (17).
