FAYETTEVILLE, AR - Iona College sophomore Heidi Gregson finished 10th overall in the mile final at the 2010 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championship hosted by the University of Arkansas at the Randal Tyson Track Complex.

"Heidi finished off a very good indoor season tonight," said head coach Ricardo Santos on the sophomore's performance. "She just didn't have it today in the final but we're in a great place heading into the upcoming outdoor season.

In her third mile race in a week, Gregson posted a time of 4:55.76. Charlotte Browning, a senior from the University of Florida won the event in 4:35.

With the completion of the event the Gaels finish up their indoor season. After a two-week break from competition, the Maroon & Gold open up the outdoor campaign on Mar. 27 at the Monmouth Season Opener in West Long Branch, NJ.
