NEW YORK, NY - The Iona College men's indoor track & field's 2022 opener was highlighted by six Top 10 finishes. The Gaels competed at the TCNJ Lions Indoor Invitational at the Armory Track & Field Center in Manhattan.
60-METER:
Redshirt freshman
Jordan Providence and senior
Prince Forson earned fourth and seventh place finishes in the 60-meter dash. Providence ran a 6.97 and was the second attached collegiate finisher in the event. Forson was seventh in 7.03 and third collegiate finisher.
200-METER
Sophomore
Jadyn Tabois crossed third and senior
Kevin Fullerton was seventh in the 200-meter dash. Tabois finished in 22.40 and was the second attached collegiate finisher. Fullerton earned a time of 23.04.
800-METER
Senior
Ehab El-Sandali earned a fourth-place finish in the 800-meter run. El-Sandali was a little more than a second behind the race winner from Central Connecticut.
4x400-METER RELAY
Sophomore
John Conroy (53.48) teamed with Fullerton (52.35), Forson (52.24) and Tabois (52.60) to finished seventh in the 4x400 meter event.
