NEW YORK, NY - The Iona College men's indoor track & field team finished fourth among 19 schools competing Friday at the Ramapo College Opener at the Armory Track & Field Center. Several Gaels earned individual top finishes at the meet.
60-METER
Senior
Prince Forson blazed the top time in the 60-meter dash finals, crossing in 6.972. He was five-thousandths of a second behind the No. 2 finisher from St. Thomas Aquinas. Teammate
Jordan Providence picked up a third place finish in 7.01. Forson also earned the top time among qualifiers for the final.
800-METER
Sophomore
Nick Soldevere was Iona's second of three first place finishers, blazing the 800-meter run in 1:55.41. Soldevere was .2 seconds ahead of Colgate's Dillon Aryeh.
MILE
Sophomore
Campbell Lee earned first place honors in the mile run, crossing in 4:16.92. He was .3 seconds ahead of Central Connecticut's Jake Ireland.
200-METER:
Forson also was the Gaels top finisher in the 200-meter dash, earning a second place standing with his 22.28. Providence earned a second Top 10 finish, in 22.94 and sixth place.
400-METER:

Jadyn Tabois earned a fourth-place finish in the 400-meter dash (50.71)
