BIRMINGHAM, AL - Iona College men's indoor track graduate student
Ehab El-Sandali competes at the 2022 NCAA Championships tonight in the 5,000-meter run. The event kicks off at 6:05 p.m. ET and can be seen live on ESPN3.
Sixteen competitors are set to compete in the 5k championship. El-Sandali qualified with a season-best time of 13:25.01, set at the Boston University Last Chance Meet on February 27. The time was the 10th fastest in the NCAA this season. The qualifying time was also the second fastest time in school history.
