Faith Preziosi Named to College Soccer News National Team of the Week

NEW ROCHELLE, NY - Iona women's soccer graduate student Faith Preziosi was named to the College Soccer News Women's National Team of the Week for the week ending September 4. The honor comes on the heels of her two-goal week that helped the Gaels go 2-0 and remain unbeaten to start the 2022 season.

Preziosi is one of 11 student-athletes to earn recognition for her performance this past week. She was also named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday. The graduate forward's goal at Wagner, the game-winner that secured the Gaels their fourth consecutive victory, was the 20th of her collegiate career. That mark is good for second most in an individual career in Iona women's soccer, while her 50 career points scored are third most in program history.

The Gaels and Preziosi are back in action Thursday, September 8 at 3:00 p.m. on Mazzella Field against VMI.
