EDISON, N.J. - Nineteen members of the Iona University men's and women's cross country program were named to the MAAC All-Academic team ahead of Saturday's MAAC Championship in Montgomery, N.Y. Thirteen men and six women represented the Maroon & Gold fitting the criteria of completion of two semesters and holding a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20.
 
There were 196 student-athletes from the 11 MAAC institutions on the two All-Academic squads.
 
The 2023 MAAC Cross Country Championships will be held at Twin Ponds on the FARM course in Montgomery, N.Y., on Saturday, October 28. It is the first time the championship will be held at the venue. For information regarding the event, please visit maacsports.com/xc.
