BOSTON, Massachusetts - The Iona University women's indoor track and field team continued early action in the 2023-24 campaign at the Sharon Colyear-Danvile Season Opener at the BU Track & Tennis Center in an event hosted by Boston University.
WOMEN'S 5000-METER RUN
Sophomore
Holly Smith and junior
Madison Klein were the lone representatives for the Gaels in Boston and competed in the 5,000-meter event. Smith finished 99th overall in 16:39.54. It was a personal best 5k time indoors or outdoors for the sophomore. Klein was 129th with her time of 16:58.79. She also ran a personal best indoor time. There were 166 finishers over seven heats in the event.
