NEW ROCHELLE, NY – Eight members of the Iona University women's outdoor track & field team were selected to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference All-Academic Team Friday. The group of Gael student-athletes earned recognition by maintaining a minimum 3.2 GPA through at least two semesters. A total of 257 student-athletes were named to the MAAC All-Academic Team.
The 2026 MAAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships begin tomorrow with a two-day meet at Mount St. Mary's University. The women open competition with the javelin event at 1 p.m. Saturday.
