POUGHKEEPSIE, NY - The Iona University women's cross country team kicked off the 2023 season at the 2023 Marist Season Opener. The Gaels had two representatives in the women's 5,000-meter race and was led by the debut of freshman
Lily Overton and her fourth place individual finish.
THE RUNDOWN
Overton crossed the line with a time of 18:55.1 in her first appearance as a Gael. Junior
Cosmina Spiridon was ninth overall in 19:22.7.
