Jadyn Tabois chased his own Iona mark in the 200-meter dash to highlight the Maroon & Gold performances.
SOUTH CAROLINA
200-METER DASH
Tabois posted a 20.72 in the 200-meter event, .06 seconds shy of his own Iona record time. He was the fifth collegiate finisher and sixth overall in the 48 runner race field. Tabois season-best time of 20.66 in Raleigh three weeks ago is tops in the MAAC this year.
Freshman
Cameron Washington ran a 22.59, entering the Gaels' all-time top 15 list and running a personal best time.
100-METER DASH PRELIMINARIES
Junior
Jordan Providence led a trio of Gaels in the 100-meter event, running the 34th fastest time in the preliminary heats with an 11.05. Junior
Jeremy Scott (44th, 11.28) and sophomore
Jiles Addison (47th, 11.51) also competed in the event.
4X100-METER RELAY
Providence, Washington, Scott, Tabois combined to run a school record 40.75 in the 4x100-meter relay. It was the fastest time in the MAAC this season and fastest since Monmouth ran a 40.30 in 2019 at the IC4A Championships. The quartet was fourth overall, finishing behind Tennessee, Coastal Carolina and Bethune-Cookman.
Providence and Tabois teamed with former Gaels Kevin Fullerton and Prince Forson for the previous school mark of 40.86 in a gold medal performance at the 2022 MAAC Outdoor Championships.
YALE UNIVERSITY
3,000-METER STEEPLECHASE
Sophomore
Peter Fogarty ran head-to-head with Fordham's Darren Croke and earned a race win in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:33.13. His time was fourth fastest in the MAAC this season.
110-METER HURDLES
Freshman
Keith Holloway ran a 15.85 in the 110-meter hurdles and finished third overall. He was two-tenths of a second shy of his personal best from last weekend at Providence.
400-METER HURDLES
Holloway doubled up in the 400-meter hurdles and posted a 1:02.37, the second fastest time on Iona's performance list in his first effort as a Gael.
800-METER RUN
Junior
Caleb Deane earned fifth place points in the 800-meter run, posting a 1:55.86. Freshman
Christian Audrin was eighth in 1:59.89, an outdoor personal best for the rookie.
200-METER DASH
Freshman
Jevon Bolt finished seventh in the 200-meter dash, lowering a personal best time set last weekend with a 23.62 effort. Freshman
Evan Gralitzer also finished just behind his teammate in 24.35 and was .12 shy of his PB at Providence.
400-METER RUN
Bolt also ran a personal best 52.76 in the 400-meter run, a mark that was first set last weekend.
1,500-METER RUN
Senior
Nick Hunziker was ninth overall in the 1500-meters in 4:03.95.
