BRONX, NY - Five members of the Iona University men's cross country team competed at the Gaels' Br. John "Paddy" Doyle Meet of Champions hosted this morning at Van Cortlandt Park. Sophomore
Jack O'Keefe finished 32nd individually to lead the Maroon & Gold.
THE RUNDOWN
O'Keefe finished the 8k event in 28:12.6. He was followed just behind by sophomore teammate
Christian Audrin (28:19.7) in 33rd place. Junior
Caleb Deane was 46th overall in 29:31.1 and was joined by the squad's fourth and fifth scorers: sophomore
Hunter Wilson (49th, 29:46.7) and freshman
Jack Novelli (51st, 30:52.5).

Jackson Jamison (26:59.7) and
Ben Daniels (27:50.5) also competed unattached and finished 16th and 28th respectively.
TEAM SCORES
The Gaels finished fifth among the eight team finishers. Charlotte won the event with a team score of 27, followed by Army (38), Binghamton (79) and Albany (110). Charlotte junior Maddon Muhammad (25:20.8) topped Army junior Nathan Davis (25:24.9) for the individual crown.
