BOSTON, MA – The Iona University women's indoor track and field team competed at the ECAC Championships on Friday and Saturday at the BU Track & Tennis Center, turning in individual and relay performances against the championship field.
800-METER RUN
Freshman
Arabella Dickfos placed 19th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:14.11. The performance ranks No. 9 on Iona's all-time list and stands as the third-fastest time in the MAAC this indoor season. Dickfos became the second performer this year to break into Iona's top 10, joining classmate
Sofia Lumbreras.
3,000-METER RUN
Senior
Maya Todd McIntyre led the Gaels in the 3,000 meters, finishing 11th in 10:03.94. The time ranks No. 15 on Iona's all-time performance list and is the eighth-fastest mark in the MAAC this season.
Junior
McKenna Arguien followed with a 17th-place finish in 10:21.97, while senior
Kate Tugman placed 19th in 10:36.49.
