West Windsor, NJ - In the women's competition at the 2007 MAAC Rowing Championships, Iona College came in third place with a combined team score of 151 points.  Marist College won the event, scoring 173 points.

The Gaels finished second in three of the eight races; the Varsity Eight, the Varsity Lightweight 4+, and the Varsity 4+ events.

Loyola was the runner up with 171 points, followed by Iona, Fairfield (106), Manhattan (74), and Canisius (42).

The Maroon & Gold's next race will be the Spring Metropolitan Regatta held on Iona rowing's home turf of Glen Island Park.  The competition is scheduled for April 28.
