NEW ROCHELLE, NY - Ten members of the Iona University Men's Cross Country team were selected for the 2024 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference All-Academic team Friday. The ten men in Maroon & Gold were eligible for the honor by holding at least a 3.2 GPA after already having completed two semesters.
There were 110 student-athletes across the MAAC that were named on the men's side. Iona landed tied third for most student-athletes named to the All-Academic team.
The 2024 MAAC Cross Country Championships will be held at Twin Ponds on the Farm in Montgomery, NY on Saturday, November 2. Hosted by Manhattan, This marks the second straight year that the championships will take place at Twin Ponds on the Farm. For information regarding the event, please visit maacsports.com/xc.
