WINSTON SALEM, NC -  The Iona University men's outdoor track team was represented by Lachlan Wellington Thursday night at the Wake Forest Invitational in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Wellington's finish earned him a personal best and top-10 time in school history.

MEN'S 10,000-METER run

Lachlan Wellington finished fourth in a field of 20 finishers, setting a personal best time of 28:41.60. The mark sits as the sixth best time ever run by a Maroon & Gold athlete in the 10 kilometer event. The graduate student's mark is the second fastest in the MAAC this season, with Iona runners taking up each of the top four 10k times.
