Arrigoni Hall of Fame
One of the greatest women's soccer players to don the Maroon & Gold, Tatum Nussbaum '99 still stands atop the Iona University record book in several categories, nearly 30 years since her time as a student-athlete.
Nussbaum was a part of Iona's first-ever women's soccer championship in 1992, which saw the Gaels defeat Loyola University in 3-2 penalty kicks after a scoreless regulation and overtime period.
At the time of induction, Nussbaum was Iona's all-time leader with 32 goals scored, 15 assists, six game winning goals and 79 total points.
In 1992, Nussbaum scored 14 goals and recorded a program single-season record of 10 assists. A year later she followed it up with an Iona record 18 goals and five assists. The marks still stand as the No. 1 and No.2 point scoring totals in school history. Nussbaum's 18 goals in 1993 was at the time the second most in MAAC history. For her efforts she was named an All-American. All of her tremendous accomplishments came in just two seasons in Maroon & Gold before her retirement.
Nussbaum earned a degree in Education from Iona's School of Arts and Science in 1999.
